2017 REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED; THE FIELD LIMIT HAS BEEN REACHED AND NO FURTHER ADDITIONS FROM THE WAITLIST WILL OCCUR.  ON-SITE REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.

The Hell of Hunterdon has a field limit of 750 riders, so pre-registration is highly suggested.  The event has sold out 7 years in a row; it sold out in less than 40 hours for the past 3 editions, so please don’t hesitate.

The cost of registration changes over time according to the following schedule:

Juniors: Please do not delay in entering. We want you to participate, and have reserved slots for you, but we can’t wait long for you to commit. The Junior Field Limit will be decreased, and slots shifted to the Adult Category, if the Adult Category is sold out, and the Junior category is not. This will occur on an arbitrary date of our choosing; Juniors; don’t procrastinate! The Adult Wait List was created to fill unused Junior & Guest Spots.

Team/Club Space
We have a large venue this year, and we want your team to be in it. Team Spaces consist of 2 adjacent parking spaces, ca 17’L x 9’W’ each. You can park up to 1 vehicle and have 1 10′ x 10′ pop-up tent onsite. Vehicles must be parked by 7:30 AM.


Rules

  • All entries are final; no refunds. Entries are not transferable, so please don’t ask.
  • The event will be held rain or shine.  Normal amounts of rain will not cancel the event. However in the event of Extreme Weather (such as impassable roads, named storms, or Official Weather Warning), the organizers reserve the right to cancel the or reschedule it to a date of their convenience.  If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, your entry will be forfeited, and a refund will not be issued.  Should the event be cancelled for reasons of force majeure, entry fees will not be refunded.
  • In the event of Extreme Weather, the organizers will attempt, but are not obligated to, reschedule the event to April 1, 2017.
  • Registration Insurance is available via: https://www.registrationsaver.com/
  • All Merchandise Sales are final; we cannot guarantee exchanges. Items not picked up at the event may be shipped to you at your expense.
  • All riders are required to check in prior to the ride, and sign a waiver in order to receive their entry package.

  • The ride will start in waves promptly at 9:00 AM
  • This is a ride, not a race
  • The roads are open to vehicular traffic; all rules of the road must be obeyed.  Participants are responsible for their own safety
  • Helmets are required to be worn at all times participants are on the bike
  • Participants should ride in a safe and courteous manner; please stay to the right, except when passing.
  • You will be riding on country roads; assume there is gravel in every turn.  Be aware that some sections of roads are rough and that road surfaces vary.

Support

The organizers will provide Neutral Support, Broom Wagons and SAG vehicles. Participants who can’t make it back to the finish will be picked up, however this is not an on demand door-door taxi service. As the ride takes place in rural areas, on-course medical assistance may take some time to arrive. Participants are highly encouraged to carry cell phones, spare tubes, and tools. Please be courteous, and aid your fellow participants as needed.
